Women’s Therapeutic Hiking Group

  • Nature

We know all about the healing that nature can bring. Just being outside is extremely regulating to our nervous systems! This group aims to get people outside and reconnecting with our roots.

  • Community

Many women want to spend more time in nature but don’t feel safe going alone. This group aims to create an inclusive environment that normalizes self-care, healing and adventure for women in the outdoors.

  • Healing

Prioritizing your own well-being is a crucial part of healing! By choosing to attend a therapeutic hike, you are joining other like-minded women who are all taking conscious steps towards reaching their personal goals.

What to expect

Every therapeutic hiking group will include a brief introduction at a previously agreed upon meeting spot. The group will then embark on the hike, the length and difficulty of which will be predetermined and shared with all attendees prior to registration. Every outing will be slightly different, depending on the location and mindfulness & ecotherapy activities planned for that day. Snacks and drinks will be provided for all participants, as well as any additional supplies needed for the activities. Participants will be required to wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the season. A $5 registration fee will be collected upon sign-up to cover the cost of supplies.

Hiking to heal.

Outside of going for a hike, this group will engage in various mindfulness activities throughout the outing. The goal of therapeutic hiking is to go beyond a simple walk in the woods! You will be invited to participate in various ecotherapy adventures as you see fit. Hiking to Heal aims to help women find peace, strength, and sisterhood through reconnecting with nature.

You deserve this.
